Make GVL Greener, a grassroots 501c3 organization dedicated to creating sustainable and green urban communities, has found an exceptional partner in Fairway Subaru. Through their unwavering support and commitment to environmental responsibility, Fairway Subaru has made a significant impact on our organization and our mission to address climate justice and social equality challenges.
In our quest to bring together the community to be the best FOR the planet and our neighbors, Make GVL Greener hosted the Earth Pride festival at Unity Park in downtown Greenville on June 24, 2023. This event served as a platform to connect local green and inclusive small businesses, non-profits, and community members passionate about sustainability. It was during our efforts to forge connections that we reached out to Fairway Subaru, and their response was nothing short of remarkable.
At the Earth Pride festival, Fairway Subaru made a resounding statement by showcasing their commitment to sustainable transportation by bringing their first EV, the Subaru Solterra, to demonstrate the numerous benefits of EVs to the community. By providing an up-close experience, Fairway Subaru played a pivotal role in educating and inspiring families and businesses to consider sustainable transportation options. Recognizing the importance of collaboration, Fairway Subaru went beyond their presence at the event.
